John was formerly a partner in the national law firm of Clayton Utz. He is also a qualified Certified Practising Accountant and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
John is a non-executive director of Azure Minerals Limited and has held directorships and/or chairmanships with VDM Group Ltd, Centrepoint Alliance Limited, Skywest Limited, Burtway Limited, Floreat Close Limited and a number of other companies, covering a wide range of business activities.
Keith Lucas
Non-Executive Director
Keith co-founded Resource Equipment Rentals Pty Ltd (now trading as Resource Equipment Limited) in October 2003. He has close to 30 years’ experience in the specialist equipment rental industry, both in the UK and Australia, with a heavy focus on the oil & gas and mining sectors.
He has formed and operated a number of successful specialist equipment rental businesses in the past, including Search Equipment Rentals, which he co-founded and was the Managing Director from 1988 until it was sold to an international corporation in 2001.
William Ryan, FAICD

Bill has 35 years’ experience in the equipment rental and contracting industries, having founded, operated and sold several businesses during his career. He has held a number of directorships and/or chairmanships with various public and private companies, including PCH Group Ltd (Chairman) and Financial Resources Ltd (non-executive director).
Anthony Ryder
Executive Director
Tony co-founded Resource Equipment Rentals Pty Ltd (now trading as Resource Equipment Limited) in October 2003. He has over 20 years’ experience in the specialist equipment rental industry, including senior management positions at Coates Hire and Cockburn Hire.
As the Sales and Marketing Manager for Coates Hire in Western Australia, Tony was a key member of the team which led the acquisition and sales integration of Wreckair, which employed over 300 staff.
Prior to that he was the Western Australian Operations Manager of Coates Hire, where he was responsible for the day to day management of 25 branch offices.
Tony’s extensive experience in pumping and other specialist equipment covers a wide range of projects throughout Australia and South East Asia.
James Cullen, B.Com, CA, FAICD, F Fin
Chief Executive Officer
James is a qualified chartered accountant with extensive commercial experience covering several industries and countries. From 1994 to 2007 he was Chief Executive Officer of PCH Group Ltd, a publicly listed Australian company providing a range of industrial services to various industry sectors in Australia, the Middle East, the Far East and Caspian Sea regions.
James was previously involved in the motion picture industry in Los Angeles, California in management, financial and company director capacities. Prior to that he worked for Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Australia, New Zealand and the USA, servicing a multitude of clients in numerous industries.
