The group commenced operations in 2003. Its founders, Tony Ryder & Keith Lucas, recognised the need for a company that specialised solely in the supply of 'designed fit for purpose', high quality pumping and associated rental equipment to the mining, offshore, oil & gas and heavy engineering markets.

To support the business’ ongoing growth it was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in July 2009 under the holding company "RER Group Ltd".

Our goal is to build a business recognised for its innovative solutions, safety, superior quality equipment, innovation and integrity. These elements, combined with an uncompromised commitment to meeting our customers’ individual needs, form the common thread that binds the business.

We have assembled a team of highly competent, skilled personnel who combined, have well in excess of 150 years mining, oil & gas, pipeline maintenance, marine and heavy engineering experience.

Unlike most rental companies, our goal is not to be the biggest or the most diversified, we just want to be recognised for doing what we do, better and more professionally than anyone else in our field.
